In the days of innovation being creative is looked at as a gift. I've always considered myself a creative. This entrepreneur chapter of my life has had it's ups and its downs. Color Corridors was created in 2014 and started as interior design for my family and friends. I would take odd jobs here and there and help turn houses into homes. While i was aware that i have a passion for it I couldn't find the time to commit full time or the clients with the right budget. In full transparency I because slightly discouraged.
In 2020 we were all taken by surprise by the COVID-19 pandemic. My husband and I were already in the process of building a home when the pandemic struck. After finally closing and moving into our home I was terrified to let anyone in to do any contract work, so i decided to do what i said i would never do again, paint. I painted several rooms in my home and got crafty while doing so. I painted stripes in my daughters room, triangles in her bathroom, etc. As I began to post my work online i started receiving calls to paint in friends homes. One friend in particular needed a nursery painted for a new baby. After turning her down several times her persistence paid off, I painted the nursery and it came out perfect. She posted it in her group chat and her friend called me to do her daughters rooms. And now here we are with a brand new side to Color Corridors, Interior Painting.
The passion for painting comes with being able to be creative. Painting accent walls, murals, etc. allows me to not only bring my clients visions into fruition but it also allows me satisfy my creative urges. Working on some projects 13 and 14 hours a day, makes it all worth it when I see the final results. Hopefully I can bring your visions to life too.
